About the materials

We use washed, carded organic wool for stuffing all our dolls. Wool is lightweight, and warms to the child's body as the doll is held.

Baby dolls and mini babies are made from fleece, and the lovey dolls are sewn from soft cotton flannel

The doll's faces are embroidered on, so there are no small parts for choking hazards.

The hair is soft wool-blend yarn.

For our slings, both for mama and child, we use cotton blends, recycled fabrics, flannel, and fleece. You can request any of these fabrics if you don't see them up on the site.
